Boston Oct 28th 1878 Mr Moore Dear Sir I take the liberty of writing to you concerning that land in Carrick I understand that the houses are in A bad condition. I wish to know is the land kept cliar [clear?] as I left it and the income rent paid and how much it amounts to please give me the full particulars about it as I intend to go home soon. I was very sorry to hear about Mr and Mrs Rankin's death I hear it is very loansome [lonesome?] there now as Master Willie is gone away please let me know if he has got home yet. P Hannah wishes to be remembered to your Moather [Mother?] in the kindest manner please let me know how she is when you write.
