| Transcript | Philadelphia 23rd 9 mo 1833 I saw Uncle Joseph Simon —. also cousin Phoebe [Hunter Sinton] & her brother James [B. Sinton] & his wife [née Martha Bettle] & daughter. Phoebe is like so many of our near & dear relations at home. How very like Uncle Samuel she is, also Aunt Debby & M O'B, & has a great likeness of thee sometimes. Her figure is ditto to cousin Martha McMeekin (alias Nesbit) — Cousin Mary Greeves — word about Billy Heathers death. He left Ann [Heather] a child's share after all & she has taken up her abode at Oatlands in Killyman. Cousin Wm Greeves of the I of Man has lost his wife [Dina]; she was a nice woman, she has left only 2 children, Elizabeth & William. He wishes to return to Ireland — my brother Wm — Margaret Greacen |
