| Transcript | To Ralph Pilkington, Cadize 18 August 1756 Sir: We are favoured with yours of the 23rd of July 1755 to our WC & are obliged to the Messrs. Bensons for your Acquaintance. The bearer, Captain John Nealson, owns with us the snow & Cargoc now under his Care. If he shoud see proper to Value himself on you, we doubt not youl do your utmost to serve him, & if he sees anything that has a prospect to Answer here after he has laid out the proceeds of his Cargoe, he has our liberty to draw on Messrs. William Snell &Co. of London as far as £400 Sterling. In that case, please to procure him Cash for his Bills. We shall at all times be ready to render you or your friends any service here.
