| Transcript | To Capt. John Nealson of the Snow Prince of Wales, 14 June 1756 Sir: I wrote you 29th past to which please be refered. I have now only to add that things has dayly A worse aspect then they had. There are large Seizures made every day. You must be upon your Gard to let no Boats Board your Vessel, & if you find any danger at Stanford after Landing the goods on freight, proceed directly with our own Goods into Philadelphia River &, without sloping, go within Ten Miles of the Town & send A Letter to Messrs. Scott & McMichael who will be prepared to dispatch you. If you & Mr, Loyd is of opinion our goods may be Landed with safety in New England, then let them be put by themselves, as otherwise I shant be able to get them away. As soon as I hear of your arrival, I shall go directly to Stanford. WC |
