| Transcript | Augusta Geo [Georgia?] 12th January 1869 My Dear Friend I enclose with this Duplicate of an order of J. & J. Stuart & Co. N. York 9th instant No. 13021 for œ9.16.2 Nine Pounds Sixteen Shillings & Two Pence Sterling upon the Ulster Bank Company payable on demand, the first part has been forwarded from New York about the time of its date. It is a remittance of my niece Mrs Giltman to be given to Mrs Grace M'Whinney [McWhinney?] for the benefit of Miss Lucinda Carroll. Be pleased also to hand to Mrs M'W [McWhinney?] the accompanying letter addressed to her - Thereby adding to the many kindnesses I already owe you - and believe me most Truly Yours R.
