| Transcript | Dear James Belfast Ireland Feby [February?] 27 I take the liberty of writing you a few lines letting you know we are all well I in good health thank god only this little trouble that happened us which i need not write you; you will see the particulars in little William Browns letter in Samuel Chist there was 16 dollars & a good watch i understand he is going to give it to John Gray which when you write i hope you will allow it to me for a keep sake it would not be worth his while to sell it you know he is a little greedy for Money Mrs Malcom [Malcolm?] is ded [dead?] belonging to the trench having Nothing More to commun i cate [communicate?]; at present as i think William has wrote to you excuse my Remains No more at preasant [present?] writing for i had a bad Your affectionate Brother pen and no time we Hugh Brown are to [too?] busy James Brown Merchant Please to deliver it him |
