| Transcript | Ballymoney April 11th 1848 Dear Father you would rcwire [require?] to come to the funeral if in your power for I will not Can [be able to?] Attend it as wee [we?] will have A kind of A market Day on that Day and I could not go for want of close [clothes?] if the steels bee [be?] coming in this week with lime you will send my trunk in with them or if not you must bring it in on the midle [middle?] market Day And you will rcwire [require?] to stay that night And the Remainder of that week, As I will rcwire [require?] to go to Mosside [Moss-side?] to get some stuff cut that I want you will tell Jas [James?] Hodges that he will oblidge [oblige?] me mutch [much?] if he will come in on Saturday first or Tuesday At fardest [farthest?] And that no other Day this week would fit nor next week And that I hope that he will if in his power Attend to sutch [such?], Robt [Robert?] J is thinking great long but it is to get At the black Btte [Bitter?] that the sweet thing is in wee [we?] are All well At present and is able to take A little [Braghan?] John Smith |
