| Transcript | New Orleans Jun 12. 1902 My dear Smyth The enclosed is a copy of a business card recently issued by an enterprising merchant in our progressive city. I do not expect that you will acknowledge receipt of this, [or?] [----?] anything or anyone here interests you. If you have any copies of your article on the [Kidney?] you might send one ot two here. I have heard some enquiries about it & I believe some Boston M.D. has been [---?] [Ex----y?] &c advising a general Elimination of [the?] offending Kidney & has been advancing some theory quite impinging upon your pathological discussion. Many have died since your departure. Many still live & after all [things?] [were?] [past?] in some [lives?]. I hear you have a nephew here, your name(s) & an M.D. [---gin?] [things?] [come?] about him to my ears occasionally [M?] Rogers |
