Dear Sir I received your kind and welcome letter on May the fifth which rejoiced me a little of hearing that 6 pounds was alight in your hands I heard once you got america [America?] letter but I could not be certain of it [----?] mine so you can hold it untill [until?] further notice Michal [Michael?] McCool wishes to know if I am getting home in November but I dont [don't?] believe I will without something May turn up that I am not aware of.
