| Transcript | Feby 24/82 Union Club Fifth Avenue & 21st Street Dear Millie, I have received your letter of Feby 4th Your letter of last Sept I fear I forgot to answer, but I showed it to the Kings, and I think I wrote you that Roly &at I thought we would sell our stock @ [at] 75c-80c But we have not been able to get this price! The Moses Taylor party do not show any desire to buy,& no broker seems to have any orders for the stock over 60c_65. I think however as time goes on that the price may advance as I understand the N.I. Zinc & Iron Co are getting fair prices for their products. As I understand, the Kings [ _ _]? have your stock with orders to sell it at 84c I will inform them if I hear of any movement in the stock,& if they think worthwhile they may cable you. The death of Mrs [----] Hays which took place on [------] will be a great loss to my uncle ,who, as you know, has been a great invalid for three years or more, she seems to have died from disease of the heart, the result of previous attacks of inflammatory rheumatism. With much love to all at Fenachy [ Fenaghy ] I remain Yours sincerely, G H Redmond. |
