| Transcript | Salem Mass [Massachusetts?] Dear Amey O'Hara I thought I would write you these few lines hoping to find you in good health as we are all in good health at preasant [present?] I was in Chealsea [Chelsea?] 27 day of December. I heard that your brother [Gel?] is dead and he left a lot of money after him and he was not married and your brother John children is got it [sic] in court and trying to get it and I thought I would write and let you know about it for I thought that you had a better right to it the [than?] the brothers children The only way you can get it is to give it into a lawyer [lawyer's?] hands and perhaps he would write to this court and help to get it it is the place that is called Norboro but we do not [sic] [know?] the number of place. I live in Salem and he is dead about 2 months. I send my love to you and your wife Mary and all the family I think your brother was married the second time and I think they aseperadents [separated?] As this is all I have to say I send my love to all You know me when I was Mary McKeown But now I am Mrs Mulcahy 13 Charter St Salem Mass [Massachusetts?] America Write as soon as you receive this letter Good By [Bye?] From Your Friend |
