| Transcript | 19 Coleman Street. London 5th June 1858 My Dear Sir We owe you an apology for not sooner returning to you the correspondence with Mrs.Moty. This I now do with thanks for the [pirect?] [at?] [afe-?]. I have written to Mr Moty pointing out to him the avenues at present of any [----ense?] of the existence of a debt [beyond?] the vague letter from Lord Caledon & requesting if he has any evidence that may at once be sent home. I hate it that our executor is not obliged to please the statute of Limitation in case where he is satisified a just debt is owing. & I have therefore explained to Mrs Moty that the next supply you with very strong proof of the existence of a Debt before he can expect you to [intensancy?] any applications. I have taken the liberty of retaining a copy of the correspondence I am my Dear Sir for self & [Par?] Your faithfully Charles Bischoff. W. J. Alexander Esq.[Esquire?] 22 St. James's Place. |
